As we walked along the shore, my wife and I discussed the dream of developing a menswear brand that epitomized quality and responsible choices. With a focus on men’s underwear, we started to sample fabrics and delved further into the world of sustainable fashion. And while we solidified our thinking on the product, the brand name was still up in the air. 

It was on one of these walks that a Willie Wagtail bird made its presence known. Perched upon a wooden fence post, this cheeky little bird started chirping at us until it had our undivided attention. The Willie Wagtail, a symbol of freedom, bravery and resilience, perfectly encapsulated our aspirations. After several Willie Wagtail sightings, the decision was clear.
